Overview

The Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) programme is linked to 7 Unit Standards as listed above and ENJO Consultants are accredited with the ETDP SETA to train this programme.

This training programme is for those who wish to learn a methodical approach and the day-to-day skills of taking responsibility for a company’s Skills Development programme, and ensuring that employees and the employer derive a mutual benefit from government grants and investment in up-skilling of the workforce.

You will learn how to:

  • Develop and implement an organisational training and development plan.
  • Conduct an analysis to determine outcomes of learning for skills development and other purposes.
  • Provide information and advice regarding skills development and related issues.

In a typical workplace environment, a Skills Development Facilitator will:
Perform skills audits in a company
Identify skills gaps of employees
Advise role players of skills development opportunities in relation to qualifications registered by SAQA on the NQF
Compile a skills development plan for the company
Implement Workplace Skills Plan (WSP)
Compile and submit an annual Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) to the relevant SETA

What does the ENJO Consultants SDF Training Programme entail?
A 5-day interactive training programme (presentations, discussions, role play and practical application in a classroom environment)
Portfolio of evidence submission 8 weeks after the last day of the training.  The portfolio of evidence contains proof of your ability to apply the newly acquired knowledge and skills in the workplace.  This POE will be submitted to all necessary experts and prescribed bodies on your behalf.

When can I start using my qualification?

  • On successful completion of the programme, ENJO Consultants will upload your results onto the ETDP database and you will receive a certificate.  The ETDP SETA will capture your results on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD) and issue a Statement of Results (SOR) that will reflect the credits you have earned.
